Obituary for Steven A. Anderson
On Tuesday, November 15, Steven Alan Anderson, loving son of the late Alan and Doris, passed away peacefully at age 56. Devoted companion of Margaret Neylon, “father” of Nevaeh, brother of Jeffrey (Dorothy), uncle of Axel, Erik and Salihah and lifelong friend of many.
Steve was known for his enthusiasm and ability to enjoy life to the fullest on his terms. He left a warm and unforgettable feeling with everyone in his path. He was the one that everyone called when they needed help. The Neylon and Dingels families are grateful to have Steve as part of their lives.
He embodied commitment in everything he did whether that was his plumbing profession at Norman Mechanical or his love for chemistry (professionally and personally) and physics. Steve’s character was one-in-a-million, including his humor, that many of us will remember dearly for the rest of our lives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, at 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. at Tohle Funeral Home, 4325 W. Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity that you support. Information 773-685-4400
