Rogeli O. Bayani, age 85, survived by his loving wife. Loving father to Rommel (Ma. Tessie), Wilbert (Joy), Gerald (Maria), Ritchie (Elen), Francis[deceased] and Arnold (Arna). Loving grandfather to Joshua (Nadia), Michael, Renz, Christopher, Jeffrey, Sarah , Jylber , Lara and Samantha. Great grandfather to Xydny. Survived by his only sister Teonila. Further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Born in the Philippines, worked and retired at the Development Bank of the Philippines. Migrated to Chicago in 1985 and continued his American dream. Worked different jobs and eventually retiring from the Chicago Police Department in 2013.
He was known as Dad, Daddy Roger, Grandpa, Lolo and Husband. He was a kind and caring man that left a lasting impression on anyone he interacted with.
Roger will be fondly remembered and loved by family and friends as a loving husband, father and caring grandfather.
